Best food tasting tour we’ve ever done!
We had the most amazing food tasting tour with Sofia from Elysian Tales. Not only did we taste some amazing traditional Spanish food and drinks, we also were lucky enough to experience the kitchen of a Michelin Star restaurant and make a delicious artichoke appetizer! From great food to great company every city needs a tour company like Elysian.
Highlight of our Europe trip
Went on all the tours and they were the highlight of my trip. Got a tour of a Michelin star kitchen making some of the best food I’ve ever had. They took us to spots that we would have never found on our own, every guide and host was super informative and knowledgeable. Top notch experience.
Great evening enjoying great food, drinks and conversations
We booked a private tour for 4 people as a business event with some foreign collaborators. The experience was exceeding all the expectations we had in many ways, from the selection of food and wines to the excellent tourmanship of our guide. As a local, I enjoyed very much the choices and explanations and our foreign partners were totally satisfied with the evening. The conversations with the guide were a big part of what made it interesting as he was knowledgeable and willing to share and discuss on many topics.
The highlight of my entire vacation!
I can’t speak highly enough about this truly unique experience. Our entire evening was packed full of incredible experiences! Making my own salad in the kitchen of a Michelin star restaurant was definitely the highlight of my vacation to Madrid. We were lucky enough to get into exclusive and highly rated places we otherwise wouldn’t have known about, or couldn’t get a reservation for. Our host was so knowledgeable and we got to see so many hidden gems on the way to the next locations on our tour. I don’t want to spoil the experience, but the special surprise at the most exclusive speakeasy in the entire city is an experience I will truly never forget.
Unique, personalized luxury food experience
What a unique and well curated experience!! I’ve never imagined it possible to be in the kitchen of a Michelin star restaurant, let alone being immersed in the inner works and actually taking part in the food prep! The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Over the course of four hours, we ate, we drank, we walked and also learned the history of Madrid. We had both fine dining as well as authentic Spanish cuisine. I felt truly immersed in the culture without the tacky tourist feeling. I have a huge appetite and left extremely full. This is unlike any other “tour” I’ve been on in any other city. It’s not quite a tour because of the personalized luxury experience you receive. I have some dietary restrictions, along with some physical limitations, but they were able to accommodate me and make me feel included and comfortable. So much so that I went on the experience twice! I did both the lunch and the dinner options, and enjoyed both tremendously. I’d recommend this for any age with a palate for good food!
The very best of Portuguese gastronomy in just one evening
A highly recommended experience to make the most of an afternoon in Lisbon. The hosts are amazing and do everything they can to make it truly memorable. It’s really special to be able to sneak into a Michelin-starred restaurant and also taste the most traditional dishes in a Portuguese tasca, finishing the night in a lively spot that makes you wish it would never end! A truly unique concept that lets you enjoy fine dining, entertainment, and the wonderful streets of Lisbon with a touch of history. Loved it!
